Springtime brings about many wonderful visuals; beautiful flowers, kite flying, long walks, birds singing, warm days/cool nights - ahhhh. Well, not in the Wood household, you mention the word "spring" and my mind goes in a completely different direction. I see mud covered baseball pants, smell the fresh leather of a pitchers/outfielders glove and I hear the unforgettable crack of the aluminum bats. To me that's spring - has been for the last 12 years! This was the inspiration for my "Spring is Here" layout.

This layout is was created using the #11 sketch from
52 Sketches 52 Weeks.
::sidenote:: I'm not a really big "circle" fan so I simply took the sketch and modified it a bit. I used a rectangle background instead of a circle and added more masculine elements.

I really like the layered stars...they add great dimension to the LO. I also like how you can take a sketch and modify it to suit your style and LO subject, too.
